Event Objectives:
This course equips RCICs with the skills to identify and mitigate the most common reasons for study permit refusals, including weak statements of purpose, inadequate financial proof, and insufficient ties to the home country. Participants will learn how to apply the relevant IRPA/IRPR provisions, analyze GCMS note patterns, and use a refusal risk checklist to strengthen applications. Through real case studies and role-play exercises, attendees will build strategies to prepare approval-ready applications while maintaining ethical practice and compliance.
