About C.D.E.S.
Career Development Education Services
C.D.E.S. is a federally registered Canadian not for profit organisation that runs continuing professional development for regulated professionals. Today that means CPD for Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultants, Regulated International Student Immigration Advisors, lawyers and paralegals.
Mission
What we set out to do
Our mission is to create and support education programs that help Canadian regulated professionals meet their continuing professional development obligations and keep their practice current.
In practice that means three things. Run sessions that are worth the hour. Price them so that a full annual requirement is affordable. Make the administration around them, the access, the recordings and the records, as simple as we can.
What we run
Immigration and legal CPD, live and on demand
Live webinars
Sessions delivered live, with questions taken from the floor. Joining instructions and the agenda arrive by email.
On demand video
Every live session is released afterwards as video. Both formats carry equal CPD credit value.
CPD bundles
A set number of hours in one purchase, at a lower cost per hour than buying courses one by one. Four tiers, from $23.
The 2027 CPD Term runs 1 July 2026 to 30 June 2027. There is no membership to join and no subscription.
Approvals
Approved where it counts
C.D.E.S. is a CICC Approved CPD Provider and an LSBC Approved CPD Provider.
Each regulator sets its own rule on what counts toward its requirement. Confirm eligibility with your own regulator before you rely on a course. Where anything on this site differs from a regulator's own document, the regulator governs.
