Event Objectives:

This course clarifies the complex landscape of Canadian work permits by categorizing LMIA-based, LMIA-exempt, and open work permits, along with their eligibility criteria. RCICs will gain practical knowledge of employer-specific permits, international agreements such as CUSMA, intra-company transfers, spousal open work permits, and bridging open work permits. Interactive exercises challenge participants to match client profiles with the correct work permit type while highlighting common pitfalls and refusal reasons. The session ensures consultants can confidently assess eligibility, prepare applications, and minimize client risks.
